Cookie Policy

This website uses a few cookies to work properly and, if you agree, a few more to count visitors. We use no advertising or marketing cookies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others tell the site owner how the site is used. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as local storage.

This site runs on Squarespace

Squarespace hosts this website and sets its cookies. It keeps the full, current list at The cookies Squarespace uses. The main ones on this site are below.

Essential cookies — always on

These keep the site secure and remember your cookie choice. The site can't work properly without them, so they don't need your consent.

crumb - Prevents cross-site request forgery (a security protection) - Session

ss_cookieAllowed - Remembers whether you accepted analytics cookies - Set by Squarespace

Test - Checks your browser accepts cookies - Session

Analytics cookies — only if you accept

These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found the site. We use the figures in aggregate to improve the site. Squarespace also uses this data to run and improve its platform.

ss_cvr - Identifies unique visitors - 2 years

ss_cvt - Tracks a visit - 30 minutes

ss_cid - Identifies unique visitors - 2 years

ss_cpvisit - Identifies returning visitors - 2 years

ss_cvisit - Tracks a visit - 30 minutes

Squarespace's cookie banner also shows a "Marketing" option. We don't use marketing cookies, so nothing is set whichever you choose.

Embedded tools

The scorecard are provided by the Business Coach Academy. When you use them, they may set their own cookies, covered by their own cookie policies.

Links to LinkedIn and other sites set no cookies on this site. If you follow them, those sites' own policies apply.

Your choices

When you first visit, the cookie banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose. You can change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
